Karen A. Haslbeck, PHR

Karen Haslbeck is an HR Business Partner with Tandem Partners, with more than 12 years of experience in human resource management in multiple industries, including health care, financial services and global marketing firms. Karen’s in-depth knowledge of human resources, combined with her management skills and practical approach, enable her to work effectively with growing companies and people at all levels in an organization.

As an HR Business Partner, Karen has worked with private companies to deliver customized solutions for their human resources challenges. Her primary areas of expertise include strategic staffing, recruiting and retention, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, training and career development.

Karen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Strayer University, a certificate in Employee Relations from Cornell University, and is a Zenger-Miller and Achieve-Global certified facilitator. She earned the Professional in Human Resources credential (PHR) in 2003 and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Chesapeake Human Resources Association.
